My absolute favorite Kumpir restaurant. The food (also the rice dishes and the mango lassi) are delicious, the waiting time to order and until the food is delivered is very short and I think you sit quite comfortably. Especially in the courtyard :) The price-performance ratio is great, so a clear recommendation!

We found this wonderful place when strolling around the city center. Great food (vegan cheese and sour cream available!!), super fast service and low prices. We had a stuffed potato and a Nan with aubergine and salad. Yummy!

The food is extremely good - very large variety of flavors on a single fork! The ambience is very simple and relaxed, accompanied by completely not Afghan, but very pleasant, quite loud music. Thoroughly recommended for a relaxed and enjoyable stay :)

Wonderful and tasty Afghan food. It's not only very tasty and freshly made, it also comes in big enough portions to kill almost any hunger. We tried the Kumpir and Nan variations, as well as the desserts (waffles).

Why does the owner make his business calls loudly in the restaurant? Food is always great. Delicious, quick, inexpensive.

Was in this restaurant for the first time today and as an Afghan I was of course doubly curious to see how the Afghani would be presented. I have to say: the food was delicious and not too little. It tasted like it was with mum at home. The service was very friendly. The ambience was very pleasant. The degree of sharpness was of course adjusted. I am very pleased!

From my point of view, a detour is totally recommended. The decoration on the seats and in the entire restaurant is reasonable and beautiful. The bathroom is always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a harmonious impression. The professionalism of the waiters is really great. For my part, I can say that nothing has broken us until now! The restaurant was a success in my mouth every time.

You can't go wrong. Food was cheap and came quickly. It gives a real impression of the Afghan cuisine and is really tasty.

Excellent place to make a quick meal but with superior quality and taste. Although the menu is simple, the dishes have a wide variety of healthy ingredients. You have the possibility to eat both inside and on a small terrace.

Food is a bit bland and I left with a distinct feeling that it could be prepared much better. One good thing is that all food is affordably priced.

Vegetable stew tasted great, the hot coriander sauce is terrific. Food was there 2 minutes after ordering. Operation was extremely correct. In the back garden there are pleasantly shady places for in summer. You can definitely do it. Good shop.👌

Great place for hot chocolate! Friendly staff. Unfortunately, we were not a fan of the waffle with strawberries and nutella. The waffle mixture was not delicious and thus, it was disappointing. Particularly, the Nutella was too watery and sweet. Would not recommend for the waffle, but we did enjoy the hot chocolate!

Yummy food, big portions and excellent service makes the afghan restaurant a perfect food option in downtown Mainz. Try the yoghurt drink with it's exotic spices. That will he my go-to from now on!

Had a really nice rice main course with aubergines, and lentiks and salad with 2 choices of sauces (yogurt and chili sauce) served quickly and at a great price. Also the iced latte was good. The restaurant s atmosphere is cool with an internal garden and a great choice of sweet waffles if someone fancies sweet food.

We went here for lunch. The Mango Lassi and Dogh were amazing. The Naan rolls were ok. All in all a good lunch place

Really good food and place in general. I would still like to come, but the costumer service has to be a lot better. A waiter I sadly cant describe maybe a bit fit, lost our order and we waited for 60+ minutes, when he came he didn't even apologise and was quite arrogant. Really unacceptable and the one star is going for this. Please fix it!

Delicious and healthy. Lots of great menu items from Afghanistan and Europe, vegetarian to carnivore. Breakfast waffles to dinner. Coffee to homemade lemonade to alcohol. The back garden seating is beautiful. The service fast and friendly. I could see this as a regular place to enjoy.

Good place, friendly staff. We had waffles and they were hot and delicious. Only wish that our table was not at an angle, since we had to hold the plate to eat. It was worth it, though.

That was delicious, Afghan cuisine, with eggplant and peppers, the spicy sauce was a real taste experience. Very cheap and good. Unfortunately only one table outside. Homemade drinks, just great. Still really tasty and cheap. It is pretty crowded in the evening.

Only to be recommended! Different, delicious dishes at fair prices. Dishes can be customized upon request. The homemade soda is also recommended. Service is good and the boss is friendly and personable.

Very tasty and cheap meals. We got the food really fast and it was delicious. This place has one disadvantage, no toilet.
